The news was announced on Everton’s official website on Friday

The Friedkin Group has confirmed it is exploring the sale of a controlling interest in Everton, less than two years after acquiring the Premier League club. The American ownership group, led by billionaire Dan Friedkin, announced it is reviewing investment options and will consider a full or partial sale if suitable successors are identified.
The Houston-based group originally completed its takeover of the Merseyside club in a deal reported to be worth over £400 million. Prospective buyers will reportedly need to meet key conditions set by the current ownership before any transaction is finalized.
