Forward missed practice Friday, unlikely to play against Columbus Blue Jackets with neck injury

St. Louis Blues forward Dillon Dube is doubtful to play on Saturday against the Columbus Blue Jackets due to a neck injury. Dube missed practice on Friday after crashing awkwardly head-first into the boards following a collision with Will Smith in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks. Blues head coach Jim Montgomery confirmed the team is awaiting MRI results on his neck.
Despite the injury, Dube scored a shorthanded goal in the third period against San Jose, marking his first NHL goal since November 16, 2023. If Dube cannot play Saturday, Zach Dean is expected to replace him on the fourth line with Pius Suter and Ross Johnston.
