Nervous nineties… the term itself tells everything about what a batter feels while batting through the 90s. It’s a phase where you are almost close to scoring a century. One missed hit and you miss out on the triple-digit figures.…

Austria's Karanbir Singh holds the record for the most scores in the 90s in Men's T20Is, having reached the milestone four times. Several prominent international batters follow closely with three scores in the 90s, including Brian Bennett of Zimbabwe, New Zealand's Devon Conway and Martin Guptill, Kenya's Dhiren Gondaria, Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan, and Denmark's Hamid Shah.
Historically, Australia's Ricky Ponting was the first batter to register a 90s score in T20I history, scoring 98 not out against New Zealand in 2005. Additionally, 11 batters have scored 99 in an innings, with four dismissed on that exact number. Conway and Rizwan also share the record for the most unbeaten finishes in the 90s, with three each.
