Frankie Runham scored two goals as Ipswich Town U21s drew 2-2 against West Brom in the Premier League Cup at JobServe Community Stadium. West Brom took an early lead through Ryan Colesby's penalty, but Runham equalized with a 25-yard free kick and struck again five minutes later to put Ipswich ahead. Remar McNeil scored just before halftime to bring the visitors level.

John McGreal's side created several chances in the second half but were repeatedly denied by the West Brom goalkeeper. The visitors also struck the crossbar in the closing stages. Ipswich Town U21s now turn their attention to Tuesday's National League Cup fixture away against Worthing.
