The Kansas City Chiefs could turn to a familiar face as they look for help at wide receiver. With Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton sidelined by injuries, Kansas City has begun exploring its options.
The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly showing interest in reuniting with free-agent wide receiver Justin Watson to address depth issues at the position. According to reporter Pete Sweeney, Kansas City is among several teams monitoring Watson, who previously helped the franchise win consecutive championships during his three-season stint from 2022 to 2024.
Kansas City is exploring options after injuries sidelined wideouts Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton in Week 4. While the Chiefs also checked in on former receiver Tyreek Hill, Watson is viewed as a more immediate fit given his familiarity with head coach Andy Reid's offense following his August release by the Houston Texans.
