Winning the National League Division Series in four games afforded the Dodgers the luxury of setting their starting rotation exactly the way they wanted for the next round. Tarik Skubal gets the ball in Game 1 of the National League…

Tarik Skubal will start Game 1 of the National League Championship Series for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Milwaukee Brewers, manager Dave Roberts announced on Friday. Yoshinobu Yamamoto is scheduled to start Game 2 in Milwaukee after the Dodgers advanced past the Atlanta Braves in four games in the NLDS.
Skubal enters with a 1.97 ERA across seven career postseason starts, having pitched at least six innings in each. Yamamoto will pitch on five days of rest following his 10-strikeout performance in the NLDS, a schedule that aligns him to potentially start a decisive Game 6 on five days of rest as well.
