Muncy’s 19 postseason home runs are the Dodger franchise lead

Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy is one home run away from joining an exclusive Major League Baseball club of players with at least 20 career postseason home runs. Only six players in MLB history have reached the milestone, led by Manny Ramirez with 29 and Jose Altuve with 28. Muncy increased his career playoff tally to 19 after hitting three home runs against the Atlanta Braves in the National League Division Series.
Already the Dodgers' franchise leader in postseason home runs, Muncy is currently tied for seventh in MLB history with Alex Bregman, Corey Seager, and Albert Pujols. Fellow teammates Freddie Freeman and Kiké Hernández are also closely trailing the 20-homer mark with 18 and 17 postseason home runs, respectively.
