The NBA preseason is a time for daydreaming about what could be. And this particular Bulls season raises some more exciting “what ifs” than usual. What if Caleb Wilson, their hotshot No. 4 draft pick, turns out to be the real…

Injuries to the Chicago Bulls' frontcourt have raised concerns during the preseason following a 104-100 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. Centers Zach Collins and Nic Claxton remained sidelined with quad and hamstring issues, while Jalen Smith missed out due to left foot soreness. Head coach Tiago Splitter acknowledged that the lack of size was a major issue, noting that managing minutes via a three-man center rotation would likely be necessary once the players return.
Undrafted rookie Tobe Awaka started at center in their absence, facing Memphis big men Zach Edey and Cameron Boozer. Despite the interior struggles and a mid-game ankle injury to forward Matas Buzelis, rookie Caleb Wilson showed promise for the rebuilding Bulls by scoring 21 points with five three-pointers.
