The Cleveland Browns had several centers to choose from this offseason, and Luke Wypler just proved that sticking with him was the right choice.

Cleveland Browns backup center Luke Wypler delivered an impressive performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers after starter Elgton Jenkins was ruled out with a concussion. According to Ernesto Cova, Wypler stepped into the starting lineup without allowing a single sack and surrendered only two pressures, earning Pro Football Focus' second-highest offensive grade on the team at 79.9.
Cova argues that the Browns made the right decision to stick with Wypler despite previous injury concerns and multiple offseason roster changes at center. With head coach Todd Monken and offensive line coach George Warhop opting for experience over rookie Parker Brailsford, Cova notes Wypler remains a valuable asset or potential trade piece.
