Despite challenges to his role, Roman Wilson continues to make strides this season, and Aaron Rodgers sees it. Through just four games, he has already outproduced his numbers from a year ago. And it’s worth noting there’s clear upward momentum…
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers offered strong praise for Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson, stating he has significant trust in the young receiver and expects him to get plenty of opportunities. Rodgers highlighted Wilson's versatile speed both in the slot and outside, though he lightly critiqued his tendency to move laterally after making a catch.
Wilson has already surpassed his previous season totals through four games, compiling 14 catches for 188 yards and two touchdowns. Writer Matthew Marczi notes that with Michael Pittman Jr. set to miss time, Wilson has a prime opportunity to maintain his elevated role in the offense ahead of rookie Germie Bernard.
