Max Verstappen says the Formula 1 paddock is "less stressful" following Christian Horner's exit because "it is not nice when you constantly have tension between people".

Max Verstappen has stated that the Formula 1 paddock feels less stressful following the departure of former Red Bull team principal Christian Horner. Speaking to the Press Association, the four-time world champion noted that the reduction in interpersonal tension has improved the atmosphere between teams. Verstappen also addressed rumors regarding Horner's potential return to the sport, emphasizing that the matter is not his concern while acknowledging Horner's past success.
Regarding his own future, the 29-year-old confirmed he has signed a new four-year contract with Red Bull, citing the challenge of rebuilding the team as his primary motivation. Verstappen dismissed the idea of moving to Ferrari, stating he is focused purely on performance rather than brand legacy. Additionally, he expressed doubt that he would continue racing into his mid-40s, noting a desire to spend more time with his family in the future.
