“We ended up looking like a school team” – Burkardt slams Eintracht Frankfurt’s performance in 6-0 defeat to Leipzig

Eintracht Frankfurt forward Jonathan Burkardt sharply criticized his team's performance following a humiliating 6-0 defeat to RB Leipzig on Saturday. Speaking in a post-match interview at the Red Bull Arena, Burkardt expressed deep disappointment, stating that the squad failed to remain compact, lost key individual duels, and ultimately resembled a school team during the Bundesliga fixture.

The striker also apologized to the traveling supporters who witnessed the heavy loss and called out the squad's senior players for failing to take responsibility. Looking ahead, Burkardt warned that Frankfurt must improve accountability before their upcoming Bundesliga match against 1. FC Koln on Friday.
