Newcastle United have unearthed a real gem in Sean Steur but the youngster has made it clear the best is yet to come

Newcastle United midfielder Sean Steur warned that he has not yet reached his peak despite an impressive start to his career on Tyneside. The 18-year-old Dutch midfielder joined from Ajax for £23million in the summer and recently earned man-of-the-match honors against Hull City. However, he now faces increased competition for playing time as Joelinton returns from a muscle injury.
Head coach Matthias Jaissle praised Steur's resilience and maturity following a tough defeat against Leeds. Steur noted that while he is settling well into his new surroundings, he still aims to improve his physical presence and overall play on the ball as he continues to adapt to the Premier League.
