Munster captain Tadhg Beirne will make his first United Rugby Championship appearance of the season when he starts against Ulster in Saturday's interpro derby at Affidea Stadium. Beirne has not played for Munster since April after missing the end of last season due to injury, followed by a break after the summer Tests.
Head coach Clayton McMillan made nine changes to the side that defeated the Bulls last week. Beirne partners Evan O'Connell in the second row, while Ben O'Connor, Alex Nankivell, JJ Hanrahan, Jeremy Loughman, Kieran Brookes, Jack O'Donoghue, Alex Kendellen, and Gavin Coombes also enter the starting lineup.
