Tottenham's Xavi Simons enrols at prestigious American university Harvard as he continues his recovery from a long-term injury.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Xavi Simons has enrolled in Harvard University's Crossover into Business program while recovering from a long-term knee injury. The 23-year-old Netherlands international has been sidelined since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in April, which caused him to miss the World Cup. Simons stated on LinkedIn that he wants to understand the business side of sports while emphasizing that returning to the pitch remains his top priority.
The course pairs professional athletes with Harvard MBA students to develop commercial skills through case studies and enterprise management. Simons recently traveled to the United States to advance his physical rehabilitation and visit the Boston campus. Other athletes who have taken business courses at Harvard include Real Madrid's Eduardo Camavinga and tennis player Victoria Azarenka.
