The versatile Hacjivah Dayimani’s newfound stopping power and leadership should place him in any team’s selection picture, according to Stormers boss John Dobson.

Stormers boss John Dobson believes Hacjivah Dayimani's improved stopping power, leadership, and versatility should place the 28-year-old forward in national selection contention. Dayimani scored two tries in the Stormers' 39-22 win over the Sharks at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday, following a Man of the Match display against Edinburgh the week prior.
Dobson highlighted Dayimani's rare athletic hybrid profile, noting his speed and ability to cover both the back row and wing, which suits a 6-2 bench split. However, Dobson stressed that Dayimani must maintain this high level of performance consistently over an entire year to secure a Springbok call-up.
