The Carolina Hurricanes secured their fourth consecutive victory with a 5-2 road win against the Chicago Blackhawks. Mark Jankowski opened the scoring late in the first period before Sebastian Aho scored a shorthanded goal in the second. Jackson Blake, Taylor Hall, and Jordan Martinook also found the back of the net for Carolina, while Roman Kantserov and Oliver Moore replied for Chicago.
Goaltender Brandon Bussi stopped 24 of 26 shots to earn the win in net for Carolina. Blake finished with a multi-point performance after tallying a goal and an assist, extending his point streak to five games alongside Aho.
