Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has reaffirmed that Manuel Neuer remains the club's undisputed first-choice goalkeeper despite making an error against Augsburg. Eberl dismissed suggestions that the mistake would alter the goalkeeping hierarchy, stating there is no reason to question Neuer's position.
Eberl also praised the rapid development of backup goalkeeper Jonas Urbig, highlighting his progress with Bayern Munich and the German national team. He credited Neuer for aiding Urbig's growth and expressed satisfaction with the club's long-term goalkeeping plan.
