The Carolina Hurricanes earned their fourth consecutive victory with a 5-2 road win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night. Jackson Blake led the attack with a goal and an assist, extending his point streak to five games. Jordan Martinook also registered a goal and an assist against Blackhawks goaltender Spencer Knight to secure his first points of the season, while defenseman Mike Reilly contributed two assists.
Several other Hurricanes players maintained strong offensive form during the win. Sebastian Aho scored his fifth goal in five games, extending his point streak to five contests. Mark Jankowski and Taylor Hall each stretched their scoring streaks to three games. Following an 0-1-1 start, Carolina improved to 4-1-1 on the season ahead of a matchup against the Philadelphia Flyers.
