The Chicago Bears could emerge as a potential trade destination for Los Angeles Chargers outside linebacker Khalil Mack ahead of the November 10 deadline, according to reporting from Jonathan Jones of The Athletic. Multiple sources indicated to Jones that a trade would make sense if both teams continue on their current trajectories, with the struggling Chargers sitting at 0-4 while the Bears have opened the season with a 3-1 record.
Mack previously played for Chicago from 2018 to 2021 before being traded to Los Angeles. An acquiring team would need approximately $5 million to $6 million to take on his contract, an amount within Chicago's current cap space of roughly $7.29 million.
