The Sacramento Kings were hoping to deal with fewer injuries this season, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

The Sacramento Kings suffered a tight preseason loss to the Golden State Warriors, marred by a significant knee injury to center Maxime Raynaud. Raynaud exited the court in a wheelchair during the second quarter and was later seen on crutches. Guard Darius Acuff also finished the contest limping, raising renewed injury concerns for the franchise ahead of the regular season.
Writer Ian Goodwillie notes that while Sacramento has frontcourt depth with Domantas Sabonis, Dylan Cardwell, and Precious Achiuwa, the injury poses a serious setback for Raynaud's sophomore development. The severity of the knee issue remains unconfirmed, but Goodwillie argues it threatens both the young big man's growth and the team's broader rebuilding plans.
