The red-hot Hurricanes hunt for a fifth straight win as they face a struggling, winless Flyers squad desperate to snap their drought on short rest in Philadelphia.
The Carolina Hurricanes travel to face the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday, October 11, seeking their fifth consecutive victory of the season. Carolina enters the contest on the second night of a back-to-back following a 5-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. Meanwhile, the winless Flyers aim to snap a six-game skid after falling 5-1 to the Boston Bruins.
Goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov is expected to start in net for Carolina against Philadelphia's Joseph Woll. Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho carries a five-game point streak into the matchup, while Philadelphia struggles offensively, having managed just seven goals across their first six games.
