The Rams will conclude Week 5 when they play the Bills tomorrow night. Star trade acquisition Myles Garrett will miss his fourth straight contest, so he will be eligible to return to practice after that point.
The Los Angeles Rams are unlikely to open the 21-day practice window for pass rusher Myles Garrett in Week 6, according to head coach Sean McVay. Garrett became eligible to return after serving his mandatory four-game stint on injured reserve following arthroscopic knee surgery. While McVay noted that Garrett is making good progress, the team remains cautious about starting his activation clock.
Once designated to return, the Rams would have 21 days to activate Garrett or lose him for the remainder of the season. Previous reporting indicated that Garrett could potentially remain sidelined until Week 9 or early November, prompting the team to wait until he is closer to full game readiness before clearing him for practice activities.
