By David Morgan, Associate Editor CONCORD, N.C. – 0.029 seconds. That’s all that separated Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Chase Briscoe and Christopher Bell…

Chase Briscoe secured his second consecutive NASCAR Cup Series victory by holding off Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Christopher Bell in a dramatic photo finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The duo traded paint and got sideways off Turn 4 on the final lap, but Briscoe maintained enough momentum across the frontstretch to take the checkered flag.
Ryan Blaney recovered from an early pit road penalty to finish third, ahead of Josh Berry and Denny Hamlin. Points leader Kyle Larson finished sixth to maintain a 49-point standings cushion over Hamlin, while Briscoe narrowed his deficit to 65 points entering the next round at Phoenix.
