Tottenham go into this weekend's meeting with Manchester United rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table

Alan Shearer has warned that Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi could face the sack if his side suffers a heavy defeat against Manchester United this weekend. Tottenham sit at the bottom of the Premier League table without a league win this season, having scored only twice in five matches. Shearer stated that a 2-0 or 3-0 loss at Old Trafford could prompt the Spurs board to take immediate action.
Pressure has mounted on De Zerbi following a summer transfer window in which Tottenham spent more than £300m, including major moves for Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes. Despite keeping Spurs up last season, the manager faces intense scrutiny after a poor start to the campaign, which recently saw them lose 3-2 to Aston Villa.
