Spalletti: ‘Juventus must seek victory, Cagliari good at wasting time’

Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti defended his tactical choices following a 1-1 Serie A draw against Cagliari. Daniel Maldini initially put Cagliari ahead in the first half before Randal Kolo Muani headed an 81st-minute equalizer for Juventus. Tensions flared after the final whistle during a handshake, resulting in red cards for both Spalletti and Cagliari manager Fabio Pisacane after Spalletti accused the hosts of wasting time.

Spalletti praised Kolo Muani's impact and defended starting Nico Gonzalez alongside him, while expressing sarcasm toward Cagliari defender Yerry Mina following reported tunnel tensions at halftime. The manager emphasized that his squad must actively pursue victories rather than settling for draws, as Juventus have now won just one of their last four league matches.
