Paul George had five steals and six deflections in the Celtics' 144-106 preseason win over the Sixers. He'll help Boston produce more turnovers and transition points.

Bobby Krivitsky writes that Paul George's preseason debut with the Boston Celtics demonstrated how the veteran wing can improve the team's ability to force turnovers. During Boston's 144-106 exhibition victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, George recorded five steals, six deflections, 13 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
According to the analysis, Boston ranked 29th in opponents' turnovers per game last season despite posting a top-four defensive rating. Krivitsky argues that adding George alongside other defensive additions will elevate Boston's transition offense and make their defense even more disruptive.
