India batter Tilak Varma suffered a bizarre run-out during the third T20I against West Indies following a misunderstanding with Axar Patel. Believing Kamil Pooran had failed to stop a boundary, the batters fist-bumped mid-pitch, only for Pooran to return the ball while Tilak strolled outside his crease, allowing Gudakesh Motie to run him out for 28.
Despite the dismissal, India posted 223 runs, powered by Abhishek Sharma's 69 from 30 balls. India eventually defended the total to win by 14 runs, restricting West Indies to 209/7 to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.
