Brendson Ribeiro used his post-fight platform to appeal for help finding his missing brother, whose disappearance six months ago has left him and his family devastated.
Brendson Ribeiro used his postfight press conference at UFC Vegas 122 to plead for assistance in finding his missing brother. Following his victory at Meta Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday, where he submitted Felipe Franco with a guillotine choke, Ribeiro spoke emotionally through an interpreter to request help from Brazilian authorities and officials.
Ribeiro revealed that his brother disappeared on April 27 in his hometown in Brazil, and local authorities have not provided any answers. Stating that his family fears his brother is no longer alive, the fighter asked for information to bring closure to his suffering father, sister-in-law, and siblings.
