Tottenham Hotspur may go back in for Arthur Dias after they tried to sign him in the summer, but their hopes of winning the race…

Tottenham Hotspur are facing competition from Barcelona in the race to sign Athletico Paranaense defender Arthur Dias ahead of the January transfer window. Spurs reportedly saw an €21m (£18m) permanent bid rejected by the Brazilian club in the summer, and the Catalan club are now actively monitoring the 19-year-old center-back.
Dias recently made his senior debut for Brazil, increasing interest across Europe. Premier League sides Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, and Brentford are also tracking the defender, who remains under contract with Athletico Paranaense until the end of 2028.
