The Liverpool FC icon swapped shirts with fellow legends like Franz Beckenbauer and Johan Cruyff during his trophy laden career

A collection of football memorabilia belonging to late Liverpool FC captain Emlyn Hughes is set to be auctioned on November 2. The items, which include swapped shirts from legends Franz Beckenbauer and Johan Cruyff along with Hughes' medals, are expected by auction house BUDDS to sell for more than £300,000.
Hughes' children, Emlyn Jr and Emma, decided to part with the 50-year-old collection following their mother's passing last year. Hughes made 655 appearances for Liverpool, winning four league titles and captaining the team to two European Cups in 1977 and 1978.
