The Houston Texans brought in a quarterback and wide receiver to bolster their roster in a pair of expected decisions.

The Houston Texans and head coach DeMeco Ryans have brought back wide receiver Bryce Oliver and rookie quarterback Mark Gronowski to their practice squad. Both players had been waived earlier to create active roster room for defensive tackle Kayden McDonald and safety M.J. Stewart, who returned from injured reserve. The transactions were pre-planned, according to KPRC 2 reporter Aaron Wilson.
Gronowski serves as Houston's third quarterback behind starter C.J. Stroud and backup Davis Mills. Oliver provides wide receiver and special teams depth following the Texans' recent trade for Marvin Harrison Jr. Looking ahead, the Texans prepare to face the 4-1 AFC South division rival Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
