LAWRENCE SHANKLAND didn’t kick a ball as Rangers beat Celtic at Parkhead. But the Ibrox skipper felt like he’d played every minute after hopping around his kitchen on one leg as he watched it. Shanks missed Gers’ back-to-back Old Firm…

Injured Rangers captain Lawrence Shankland revealed he watched his team's Scottish Premiership win over Celtic at Parkhead from his kitchen, accidentally standing on one leg for the entire first half while on crutches. The 31-year-old striker missed back-to-back Old Firm victories, having also attended their 3-0 Premier Sports Cup triumph at Ibrox as a spectator.
Shankland is currently recovering from hamstring surgery and recently stopped using crutches as part of his rehabilitation. While he has not set an exact date for his return, he is expected back by early 2027 and is working alongside teammate Youssef Chermiti in the gym.
