Max Eberl brushes aside any worries about Luis Diaz's slow start to the season

Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl has publicly backed forward Luis Diaz following a slow start to the 2026-27 season. Speaking after Bayern's 2-2 draw with Augsburg, Eberl dismissed concerns over Diaz's form, stating that the Colombian winger will come good again as his movement and involvement remain strong.
Diaz has managed only one goal across his first eight appearances this season following a demanding previous campaign where he played 4,060 minutes for Bayern and featured in the World Cup for Colombia. Having been rested during the recent international break, Diaz is expected to look for a confidence boost in Bayern's upcoming Champions League fixture against Viking.
