Saracens have sacked Totoa Auvaa with immediate effect after an incident over the weekend - four months after the forward was involved in the nightclub altercation that preceded Ben Stokes' retirement from international cricket.

Saracens have sacked Senior Men’s Academy forward Totoa Auvaa with immediate effect following an incident in St Albans over the weekend. The Premiership club confirmed the 21-year-old Samoan's departure following an internal investigation, stating that his conduct fell short of the standards expected on and off the pitch.
Auvaa was previously involved in a June 2026 nightclub altercation alongside England cricketers Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson, an incident that led to Stokes and Atkinson being dropped for a Test match before Stokes subsequently retired from international cricket.
