AS Grant Forrest will testify, the vagaries of golf are such that there's no saying when its magic will come and go, even on the DP World Tour.

Scottish golfer Grant Forrest ended a severe form slump by winning the Open de Espana in Madrid. The 33-year-old closed with a one-under-par 70 to finish at 14-under par, edging out Victor Perez and Eugenio Chacarra by one shot to secure the title and a £480,000 prize.
The victory marks Forrest's third professional title and his first outside Scotland, lifting him from 296th to 140th in the world rankings. The win also earned him invitations to compete at The Open at St Andrews and make his debut appearance at The Masters.
