Deloitte helped falsify documents to hide Roman Abramovich's wealth and evade tax, according to a report by BBC Panorama.

Deloitte has been accused of helping to falsify documents to conceal Roman Abramovich's wealth and evade taxes, according to a BBC Panorama investigation. The report alleges that Deloitte Cyprus approved backdated filings that hid luxury assets, including superyachts and private jets, while advising on schemes to bypass tax liabilities in Cyprus. Abramovich's lawyers have denied the allegations, stating he did not evade tax or authorize falsified documents.
Leaked documents reportedly indicate that Deloitte was aware the backdated asset transfers to the British Virgin Islands were misleading. The allegations follow separate sanctions against Chelsea FC, where the club was recently fined and received a suspended transfer ban for financial rule breaches during Abramovich's ownership.
