The Jacksonville Jaguars are signing long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer, according to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The move follows a shoulder injury suffered by starting long snapper Ross Matiscik in Week 5, during which defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton had to fill in. Rapoport reported that Matiscik will not be placed on injured reserve.
Bobenmoyer previously played four seasons at Northern Colorado before entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos in 2020. The 29-year-old subsequently joined the Las Vegas Raiders on a three-year contract in 2023, appearing in all 17 games during the 2025 season.
