The Vikings offense isn’t very good. But then there’s the reality that the team sits at a pristine 5-0 record.…

Despite starting the season with an undefeated 5-0 record, the Minnesota Vikings' offense has been labeled "a mess" by analyst Mike Sando of The Athletic. While the team has leaned heavily on dominant defense and special teams units under Brian Flores and Matt Daniels, the offense ranks near the bottom of the NFL in key metrics, scoring just nine touchdowns across five games.
Writer K. Joudry notes that Minnesota entered its Week 6 bye while managing injuries, but signs of offensive growth are emerging. Quarterback Kyler Murray and wide receiver Justin Jefferson showed improved chemistry in a win against the New Orleans Saints, where Murray completed 80 percent of his passes for 229 yards and a touchdown.
