The Story in 60 Seconds

The Arizona Cardinals have finalized the trade of wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans. In the permanent deal, Houston acquired Harrison and a 2027 sixth-round draft pick, while Arizona received second- and seventh-round selections in 2027. Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort acknowledged the move was difficult but stated the franchise had to prioritize what was best for the team.

The trade reunites Harrison with his former Ohio State quarterback, C.J. Stroud. Drafted fourth overall in 2024, Harrison had recorded five catches for 85 yards and one touchdown through four games this season before sitting out Arizona's Week 5 loss ahead of the move.
