Everton are considering a fresh move to sign Bayer Leverkusen striker Christian Kofane during the January transfer window, according to Football Insider. The Premier League club reportedly made a formal offer and held talks over a permanent move in the summer before Leverkusen blocked his exit. Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle, and Chelsea are also monitoring the 20-year-old Cameroon international.
Leverkusen currently plan to resist mid-season bids for Kofane, who remains under contract until 2029 and is recovering from a thigh muscle injury. Everton manager David Moyes is assessing forward options to support Thierno Barry, with Rennes forward Esteban Lepaul also linked.
