The Story in 60 Seconds

The second stage of the LPGA Tour's Q-School was postponed on Sunday due to unplayable course conditions following heavy rainfall. The tournament was scheduled to begin at Plantation Golf & Country Club in Venice, Florida, with over 200 players set to compete. Recent storms brought seven inches of rain to the facility, leaving washed-out bunkers, submerged fairways, and impassable cart paths across both championship courses.

Epson Tour chief business and operations officer Jody Brothers announced that the tournament has been rescheduled for November 1–6. To assist affected competitors with travel and lodging disruptions, the LPGA Tour reportedly offered players a $1,000 credit toward their Q-Series entry fees. The delay also creates scheduling conflicts with the Ladies European Tour's Aramco China Championship.
