Manchester City reportedly made an offer to sign Borussia Dortmund and USMNT starlet Mathis Albert over the summer.

Manchester City reportedly submitted an offer to sign Borussia Dortmund starlet Mathis Albert during the summer transfer window. According to Goal.com, multiple European clubs are monitoring the 17-year-old United States international, but Dortmund rejected the Premier League club's advances to keep him as part of their future plans.
Reports from Bild previously indicated that several clubs were willing to pay up to €15 million for a permanent transfer. Albert has played 90 minutes in Dortmund's 5-0 DFB-Pokal win against HEBC Hamburg this season and recently recorded a goal and an assist in four appearances for the USMNT.
