Joey Logano’s championship history had fans believing the even-year trend could work in his favor again in 2026. The Team Penske star lifted the Cup Series trophy in 2018, 2022 and 2024, giving supporters another reason to back him this…

Joey Logano remains defiant despite facing a steep climb in the NASCAR Cup Series championship race with four events remaining. After finishing ninth at Charlotte without collecting stage points, the Team Penske driver sits sixth in the standings, 92 points behind leader Kyle Larson. Logano stated that his No. 22 Ford team will likely need to win at least two of the final four races to mount a successful championship comeback.
A late tire failure at Kansas and moderate results at Las Vegas and Charlotte dropped Logano well off his target of trailing by roughly 60 points. However, Logano expressed confidence in the upcoming schedule, which includes tracks where he has previously enjoyed success, such as Phoenix and Martinsville, alongside races at Talladega and Homestead-Miami.
