Scotland striker Robbie Ure second in European Golden Boot race after first Sevilla goal
Scotland international Robbie Ure has risen to second place in the European Golden Boot standings after scoring his first goal for Sevilla. The striker found the net and registered an assist during a 3-3 draw against Levante. The strike also marked an end to his goal drought following his transfer from Swedish club Sirius, where he had been the top scorer.
Because goals scored in Spain's La Liga carry a two-point weighting compared to the 1.5-point coefficient assigned to the 15 goals he netted for Sirius, Ure significantly bolstered his tally. He now trails leader Ede Oloko by 2.5 points, with the Nigerian striker tallying 27 goals across spells with Latvian sides Liepaja and Tukums.
