49ers and Seahawks fans blasted FOX after Giants-Commanders overtime coverage caused viewers to miss key plays from Sunday's NFC West showdown.

San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks fans expressed frustration with FOX on Sunday after broadcast decisions caused viewers to miss most of the first quarter. Although designated as "America's Game of the Week," coverage was delayed because FOX remained with an overtime game between the New York Giants and Washington Commanders that concluded in a 27-27 tie.
Due to the delay, viewers missed major early plays, including Renardo Green intercepting Sam Darnold and Brock Purdy throwing a touchdown pass to Mike Evans. Fans also missed a muffed punt by Jacob Cowing and Seattle's opening score before FOX finally transitioned coverage to Lumen Field.
