St. Louis Blues center Dylan Peterson is set to make his NHL debut on Tuesday night against the Ottawa Senators. The 24-year-old was recalled from AHL Springfield on Saturday and skated alongside Pius Suter and Ross Johnston on the fourth line during Monday's practice. Blues coach Jim Montgomery praised Peterson as a prototypical fourth-line presence who adds an edge to the lineup.
The matchup serves as a homecoming for Peterson, who played minor hockey in the Ottawa area. St. Louis enters the game after defeating the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-3, while the Senators arrive on a 5-1-0 start following a 4-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils.
