Dahlin left the Sabres’ Monday matinee against their Atlantic Division foe during the second period.

Buffalo Sabres captain and defenseman Rasmus Dahlin left Monday's game against the Florida Panthers after sustaining an upper-body injury, the team announced. The 26-year-old blueliner entered the divisional matchup having recorded three points across his first four games of the new season.
The setback comes after Dahlin led Buffalo to the playoffs in 2025-26 and finished third in Norris Trophy voting with 74 regular-season points. The Sabres, who entered the contest with a 2-3-0 record, now prepare for an upcoming three-game road trip through Canada.
