The Kansas City Chiefs are making major decisions during their bye week to make sure their 4-0 run remains intact. One of them is bringing back an offensive lineman who was benched. During the Chiefs’ 30-27 win over the Raiders…

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed that offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia will return to the starting lineup this week. Suamataia was unexpectedly benched in favor of Mike Caliendo at left guard during the Chiefs' 30-27 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on October 4. Reid previously declined to provide details regarding the benching, noting the decision was between him and the player.
Suamataia's return comes as Kansas City seeks stability along an offensive line ranked 19th by Pro Football Focus following Week 4. Meanwhile, the Chiefs face multiple wide receiver injuries ahead of their matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers, as Rashee Rice manages a hamstring issue and Tyquan Thornton faces injured reserve due to a dislocated ankle.
