Dodge is reportedly close to finalizing a return to the NASCAR Cup Series in 2027, according to The Athletic. While negotiations remain ongoing, sources indicate that Dodge is on track to compete at the season-opening Daytona 500 on February 21. This move would make Dodge the circuit's fourth manufacturer alongside Ford, Chevrolet, and Toyota, marking its first appearance in the series since 2012.
Kaulig Racing is expected to transition from Chevrolet to Dodge, expanding on its current relationship using Stellantis North America's Ram Trucks in the Craftsman Truck Series. In addition, Dodge is working to finalize an engine partnership with Richard Childress Racing's ECR Engines.
